I’m interested broadly in the integrated control of agricultural pests, mainly on vegetables and citrus. Areas of active research (dirección web grupo de investigación) include parasitoid rearing methods and bio-ecological studies, integrated and biological pest management on citrus, biological control of Ceratitis capitata, biological control of Tuta absoluta, biological control of Bactrocera oleae. I am a teacher in several official courses on pest control for technicians and producers (www.ivia.es/ento).

Collaborative researches have been conducted in several countries (especially Great Bretain, France, Portugal, Greece, Tunisia and Morocco). Currently, I have a Collaboration Agreement with the University of Salamanca (Dr. Tormos). The work includes mass rearing of parasitods of tephritids, associated systematic research on these parasitoids, and applications for biological control of medfly.
