Education

  • B.S. (Biology) – University of Salamanca. 1995.
  • Ph.D (Biology) – University of Salamanca. 2001.

Research Interests

Ecotoxicology, vertebrate management (fish, birds, mammals), population dynamics, agricultural resources, conservation and biodiversity.

Statement

My research began with the study of bird population dynamics in agricultural environments, both in different types of crops such as linear media as roads. From there, it was included in ecotoxicological works and their possible influence on the population dynamics of birds, mammals and fish.

I am currently working with dynamics of waterfowl and American mink in Patagonia in Argentina, the study of uranium mining and its influence on small mammals’ populations and the characterization of fish fauna in reservoirs.
