The Master’s degree has a duration of one academic year (60 ECTS credits), lasting from September to September. It requires full-time attendance, although students would be able to opt for a partial registration for a period of two years (30 ECTS each year). Special emphasis is placed on the practical side of the degree and students will be required to make a certain number of field trips and visits to renowned research centres. In its first year, the students performed more than 25 field work sessions, both in ecosystems of the Iberian Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands.
